These terms govern your use of paidwell.com (“paidwell,” “we,” “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. What paidwell is
paidwell provides general salary comparisons based on public data, aggregated statistics, and anonymous contributions. Results are estimates for informational purposes only. They are not financial, legal, career, or tax advice, and may be incomplete or out of date. Decisions you make using the site are your own.
2. Your contributions
When you add your salary or other information to paidwell:
- You confirm it’s accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you’re allowed to share it.
- You don’t include anything confidential you’re legally or contractually barred from sharing, or anyone else’s personal information.
- You grant paidwell a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, aggregate, analyze, modify, create derivative works from, display, distribute, and commercialize your contribution, and to sublicense these rights, including as part of aggregated or anonymized datasets offered to third parties. This license transfers with the business if paidwell is sold or reorganized.
- We may reject, edit, exclude, or remove any contribution, for example if it looks inaccurate or abusive.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we store and how contributions stay anonymous.
3. Our content and data
The site, its design, software, results, statistics, compiled datasets, and reports are owned by paidwell or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the site and share your own results for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4. Things you may not do
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract data or results from the site, by hand or with bots, scripts, or other automated means, including repeated queries meant to reconstruct our statistics or datasets.
- Copy, resell, republish, or use our data, results, or reports to build or train a competing product, database, or model.
- Get around rate limits, access controls, or paywalls, or interfere with the site’s operation.
- Submit false, misleading, or automated contributions.
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
We may block access or take legal action for violations.
5. Paid reports
If we offer paid reports, the price and what’s included will be shown before you buy. Reports are licensed for your personal use and may not be redistributed.
6. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Company names appear only as they occur in public records or user contributions; their appearance doesn’t imply affiliation or endorsement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, paidwell and its operator won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any lost profits or wages, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the site at any time.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
